Stanbio Laboratory

Highlawn Baptist Church mission to Cochabamba, Bolivia
October 28, 2011
I can not thank Stanbio Laboratory enough for the STAT Site M test cards you donated for our trip to Cochabamba, Bolivia.

We did several clinics while we were there and saw amazing results. A big part of this was due to the test cards you donated for the Stat Site M.

Part of the mission of the "House of Hope" in Bolivia is to provide the lower income children a meal containing soy beans or a glass of soy milk once a day.
Through recent studies they have found that many of the children are suffering from anemia due to lack of iron in their diet. Soy beans/milk is a cost effective way to provide children with a iron rich food.

One of the clinics was at a ministry site that just recently started receiving the soy products and their hemoglobin ran much lower than the clinics we did where they have been receiving the soy products for a longer period of time.

We also collected and took with us vitamins containing iron. They were given to the children with the lower hemoglobin levels rather than to every child, which made our limited resources much more valuable.

Once again, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your help.
Our trip was a huge success and blessing to the people of Cochabamba, Bolivia and Stanbio Laboratory was a big part of that success.

In the future if we purchase more instruments, we will be using your company.

Thank You
Wendy Harvey
